Seamist Cottage

Reviews

This is a beautiful cottage and very charming. You can live like a sailer from years gone bye. Magical village, fantastic walks, will be back next year for sure.

Seamist Cottage was ideal for us as 2 adults with 2 young children, and we really didn't realise that the UK has such outstanding beautiful scenery - the coast is rugged and inspiring.

I would highly recommend Seamist cottage to anyone, it's location is stunning, the living room cosy, and the welcome for us and our dog Cherry was very warm. Staithes is a delight to potter around.

Staithes is a beautiful little fishing village. If you like walking or taking trips out, it is close to numerous places. We have been lots of times and never get fed up of going back!

Location, location superb!!! Park the car and everything you need is in this wonderfull olde worlde village, and if you need a change of scenery just walk the clifftops (well signposted) to Port Mulgrave (30mins) and the lovely seaside village of Runswick Bay (45 mins).

The location was amazing, right on the seafront. With two young kids this was perfect; get dressed, then we're on the beach within 30 seconds! The cottage was very homely and well stocked with most things (and more!) you could need. There were games, jigsaws, DVDs for all ages, CDs and a few toys that our son was very attached to in the few days we were there. The kids loved the loft room and the views of the sea from the front rooms were amazing. All in all, a great break, and the village was so pretty and friendly.

The cottage was in a great position just a few yards from the seaway! The inside of the cottage was lovely and the village is beautiful!
